'Brighton Lanes, Midday Light'
 
I love painting in the South Lanes, the streets are narrow and there is constant animation from busy shoppers moving through. It was midday and the sun was directly overhead - I chose the time specifically - I found the contrast between the shadows of the figures and the light washing across the floor quite exciting.
