'Daffodils and Oak Table'
 
I really enjoyed the challenge in capturing the light in this piece. There is a large window above that rained light down onto the subject creating wonderful contrasts in tone and colour. Beside the wide range in tone, I worked with a spectrum of temperatures from the cool blue shadows of the floor and wall behind to the hot yellows and oranges of the petals.
