'Lemons and Silver Tray Study'
 
I love to paint simple still life subjects as it really allows you to focus on the beautiful elements of the image and amplify them. There is a large window above to the right and it pours light down onto the silver creating a wonderful illuminated surface. I focused on capturing the luminescence of the fruit in contrast to their darker shadows beneath.
