'Old Steine Bus Stops, Brighton'
I absolutely love these 1930's shelters. They must have been such a strikingly modern design for their time. This piece is inspired by the strong light washing across the floor working to define the silhouettes of those waiting for a bus. I used a reduced palette of blues and muddy greens to help create the sense of intense hazy light across the subject.
