'Silver Water Across Lake Windermere'
 
I painted this piece on the last day of a week long trip to the Lake District. I set up with some artist friends on the edge of the lake and painted frantically for the entire day. I found the view beautiful and ever-changing. During this piece, the surface of the water became almost glass-like, reflecting the clouds as a sheet of silver.
