Brighton's Pier is of endless inspiration to me. I like to find ways of capturing this well-painted subject that are new and exciting. This piece takes an interesting crop and explores the vertical nature of the structure. I was quite taken by the warm pastel orange of the sky and the speckled light through the structure of the pier.
