ABOUT ME
Elliot studied architecture in London and went on to work for a several years within the industry. This exposure to precise drawing and architectural design began influencing the character of his oil paintings. Around this time, he became gripped with painting the Thames as he could study the ornate buildings and bridges and more significantly the reflections across the murky water. This marked the beginning of his fascination for painting light and the array of exciting effects that can transform the atmosphere of a place.
He decided to leave the architectural industry in 2019 in order to paint full-time and found himself moving to Brighton shortly after. From his Hove studio he enjoyed painting between the vibrant town centre, calm openness of the beach as well as the rolling landscapes of the South Downs.

Elliot has now left the UK and is backpacking around South East Asia and eventually onto Australia. He is very excited to immerse himself in new cultures and landscapes and can't wait to see how these experiences impact his future artwork.
Elliot’s paintings have received recognition in London after exhibiting multiple times with the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the New English Art Club. Elliot also featured on the 2023 series of Landscape Artist of the Year.
